For lent, I am giving up alcohol, caffeine and my great figure.
Not really. I am giving up those things because I am in my fourth month of pregnancy. I am due on September 2nd, but Owen was such a huge baby, I’ve asked my amazing midwife to help me by possibly delivering a week early and getting an 8 lb. baby instead of 9!

Valentine Party
My little Valentine has been sick off and on for some time now. He got to go see “Tom”, his doctor, today and was cleared to go to preschool tomorrow if O felt good in the morning.
Jeremy and Owen made an awesome Valentine’s Card and Owen has been looking forward to the party the past week.
The kiddos are not allowed to bring candy (yea!), but may distribute homemade cards.

I use “MegaVote” and that’s how I learned that Sen. John Cornyn voted AGAINST the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009. Well of course he would, why should we have equal pay for equal work?
