Humble Tie

Jeremy and I had words this morning because he didn’t want to wear the homemade tie Owen spent a great deal of time creating - it has multi-colored hearts and a small rainbow.

Jeremy didn’t want the attention and felt embarrassed. He said not to bring it up in front of Owen and that Owen would forget.

So I brought it up in front of Owen and O asked Jeremy to wear it.

Jeremy swallowed his pride, gave me the stink eye and wore the tie to church.

Turns out our pastor wore his homemade tie from his four-year-old son too!
