Help Haiti, here

Two phenomenal young adults I have the pleasure to know have worked with a clinic and rescue center at Real Hope for Haiti for four years. Scarlett and Graham work with The Good Samaritan Clinic in Cazale, Haiti, miles outside of Port-au-Prince, which operates free of cost to those in need, treating malnourished children, terminally ill adults and those in need of a consistent prescription medicine program. The earthquake has flattened the store where the clinic’s supplies are purchased.
I’ve attended their annual fundraiser for years and seen in video and photos their successes. As a mother and woman I know the importance of clean supplies at a birth, the importance of nutrition and medicines when needed and cannot imagine having to do without.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Scarlett and Graham are hosting a garage sale with 100% of the proceeds for the clinic. Read more about the clinic here and here. The sale will be at 7013 Trinidad Dr. North Richland Hills, from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Call Scarlett if you want to donate your items, 817.992.2560. And stop by to shop the sale!
Also, save the date for 13 February, for their annual fundraiser brunch with silent auction “Romance on Lake Grapevine”, at Paradise Cove. In the past two years, the event has raised more than $10,000 for the clinic, provided a laboratory and maternal mortality prevention programs. The ticket donation is tax deductible.
