For the first time in his life, Hale slept in this morning, way in — 8:30 a.m.
Instead of volunteering with O, I toured a preschool program for Hale. I’d use it as a mother’s day out, but more like mother’s day in the house, to accomplish all my household responsibilities.
I think Hale will like it. I wish we had more socialization opportunities for him beyond the children of our friends.
There remain no babies or toddlers in our neighborhood. The closest child to our boys is a 10-year-old who isn’t allowed over anymore.
The daily schedule looks great and the themes and activities too.
Hale loves salsa, but he’s crying through the pain at lunch. I tried to take it away and he insists more, more.
Hale and I cleaned the garage for an hour and a half. Looked like a cardboard smuggling operation in there.
Just in case you see us out today, let it be known that Jeremy dressed Hale.
Thankful for babysitters that keep my Hale during literacy volunteering at O’s school!
— Hale spoke his first sentence today.
Valentine’s for Kiddos
I got Owen a pirate T-shirt and Hale colored pencils that are just his size. If you gift give (beyond sweets) what do you give?
New milestone today, as Hale ate at the table with us. What a big boy.
