Owen and Hale have become the brothers that I wanted them to be — laughing together, helping each other and genuinely loving each other. It took time for Owen to warm up to Hale, after being an only child for so long. Owen was a reluctant big brother, but you wouldn’t know it from these photos.

Chest Club
Owen is very excited to attend his first Chess Club all ages meeting. Now if only he’d call it chess instead of chest.

I was telling someone about Owen’s first wedding, but I can’t remember who, so you all get to see it and maybe that person will see this.
Line 16
Owen is on line 16 of 50 - “I will be nice to all people.” He spit on Hale when I left them alone this morning. Since Hale’s birth, he’s hit Hale, bit Hale and now spit on him. For a few moments I considered taking Owen to the woods and leaving him for our Grapevine coyotes. Still in the realm of possibility.
